Calgary Lock & Safe is looking for an experienced Journeyperson Locksmith to join the ranks!
Only candidates who meet the qualifications will be considered.
Main Job Functions:
Install and repair door hardware, electronic and pneumatic closing fixtures, doors, frames and all complete door hardware packages.
Perform general locksmith duties including installing general door hardware in both commercial and residential applications.
Install, maintain, service, and repair various types of locks and security devices including door hardware.
Operate a wide variety of equipment including power saws, sanders, grinders and all hand tools.
Perform emergency lock out services for residential, commercial, and automotive customers.
Requirements
Registered locksmith certification
Clean driver's abstract
Ability to lift 50lbs
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Assets:
WHMIS
First Aid
Customer service experience
Typical hours are 08:00-17:00 Monday to Friday, but occasional weekend and on call work may also be required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
